If you home educate or are thinking of home educating - this Convention is for you!
We offer several workshops that are designed to meet you where you are, whether you have home educated for several years, are just starting, or are just thinking about it. Several workshops share the vision of Dad's role in home education and how to direct and support the schooling years of your children. Others get down to the nitty gritty of getting started, record keeping, teaching math, science, music, etc. Still others cast the vision for our children and offer alternatives to continue their education after the high school years. Christine Field and Melinda Boring will be speaking on educating our struggling learners, helping us to uncover the ways they learn and enable us to work with them to achieve their potential. We even have a workshop for Grandparents, exploring ways to assist our children in the education of their children and ideas for how to invest in the lives of our grandchildren.
We have an outstanding exhibit hall filled with many, many vendors. You will get the opportunity to get a hands on look at various curriculum and educational materials and discover several wonderful items to supplement your education curriculum, as well as gain ideas for the coming year. If you have any questions while in the exhibit hall, be sure to stop by the IAHE booth and talk to your Exhibit Hall Hostess who is an experienced home educating Mom that is looking forward to meeting you, answering your questions and sharing what God has taught her through her home schooling experience.
We look forward to seeing you at Convention!
