Vision Statement
One Heart is a Christian home school group whose members acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and whose members help to develop, maintain, and encourage unity among parents, children, and families as we work to educate our children at home. We strive to support each other, serve others, and exercise the gifts God has blessed us with as well as share teaching ideas and resources. We gladly open our membership to any family willing to work with and teach our children from a Christian perspective to the best of their abilities. Along with co-op classes, we enjoy participating in field trips, service projects, social events, and teen activities.
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and that belief in Him is the only means for obtaining salvation in heaven when we die. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is intended to be read on a consistent basis as well as to be used to "teach, rebuke, correct, and train in righteousness" (II Timothy 3:16). We believe that God wants us to live righteous lives as to set an example for everyone "in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." (I Timothy 4:12)
