Kokomo Area Schools at Home (KASH) is a mutual support group started in 1988 by and for those families involved in home education in the Kokomo area. The group works together to broaden the opportunities of the individual homeschool through the sharing of information and experience, group activities, and social interaction within a Christian atmosphere.
Children are expected to obey cheerfully the authority in charge of a class or activity. If a child has been verbally warned about a problem and the problem continues, he will sit out the rest of the class (or the next class if the class is almost over). If a child has to sit out three times, he is removed from the class for the rest of the semester. Guns or other weapons are strictly prohibited. The KASH Leadership will stand behind the designated authorities, except in extreme cases.
