Northeastern Indiana Catholic Home Educators

Mission and Vision

We are a homeschool support group made up of lay people that provides spiritual, service, social, field trip, and other activity opportunities for Catholic families in the Fort Wayne and surrounding areas.  Our public website is http://www.nichefw.info/ Attendance at activities is open to all persons, single or married, regardless of religious affiliation, whether homeschooling or nonhomeschooling.

Membership

Please contact Grace  for information on membership.  Membership includes a secure message board, weekly e-mail reminders of upcomming and pertinent events, a photo directory of our members and a few members-only sub groups.

Group Size

About 65 families -- we talk about our revolving door because many families choose not to join one or more years but still participate in some of our activities and then join for a few years, so the actual number of our ranks is higher.  Our last count of children was well over 225.

Meeting Times

•  Our main gathering is a Mass with activities following on the first Friday of every month at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne.
• Our big gathering of the year is our annual Catholic Curriculum Share - all are welcome to this free event!
