Christian Home Educators of the South Side CHESS

Mission and Vision

     Christian Home Educators of the South Side was started to bring like-minded Christian homeschooling families together for support and fellowship for both the students and the moms.  While the target base is the south side of Indy and Greenwood, we currently have members from the east and west side of Indy and Nineveh as well.  We require a statement of faith to be signed by all members.

Membership

     We currently have preschool students up to a senior in high school.   Our annual membership fee is $15 per family, and each family is expected to help by planning activities/field trips during the school year.

Group Size

     Our membership currently includes 14 families.

Meeting Times

     We plan a field trip and an activity each month (except December) during the school year.  These are published in our monthly email newsletter.  Our moms' meetings are held  one evening a month.
